brown.glow.&.bronze

for those of you who stalk me 24/7 also know that i have a youtube channel.  say what?! exactly.  i started this channel as a supplement to my blog series, thoughtful fridays.  since coming out after living under a rock for years, i decided (with full coercion from my L.A. beauty junkie friends) to explore other beauty products this past fall 2011.  i am blessed with 534894 skin sensitivities so it is much harder for me to go out and willingly ruin my skin. HA! with the help of my friends, i also found youtube to be a good source of information.  i know each product works differently for everyone, but it's better to have some prior knowledge about a certain product than none.  long story short, i decided to keep this channel to share my experiences with some products that i have tried or been trying at the moment.

i keep telling everyone it is a faux beauty channel because i do not do tutorials (if i did, mine would be how to poke your eye with your mascara every single day or how to use crayola and color within the lines), those are not my thing.  i am not skilled with fancy makeup application and i am lazy.  i like to share my favorite monthly products, do tags and pretty much copy any basic video themes that i think is fun.  yes, i have no originality but i don't care about that either.  i just want it to be fun for me.

brown, glow and bronze (bg&b) is everything about me and what i believe in - brown, being comfortable with my own skin.  glow, believing that beauty comes within and that we have the power and opportunity to make it shine all year round and bronze, that is just the maintenance part of living the life we are meant to live.  plus, i love bronzers.  


and yes, that wallpaper background on my channel does say, "i love you like a back-alley hooker loves crack."  that is all.
