and so it continues ...

if i remember right, i posted in january that my word for 2012 was movement.  and boy there were quite a bit of it!  actually, i tried to find the post about the word of the year, but i couldn't so i might have invented it or had it posted in my brain but never on the blog.  and the word i'm looking for is ... anyways.  parts of those movement are still things i cannot discuss in public, but a huge part of it was traveling to different cities reconnecting with old friends in person.  i've always been in touch with them through social media and texting, but since life happens, our ability to see each other in person has become limited.  all of these visits have been almost every other month for me, being the one traveling and them also taking time off and providing free lodging.  i must say, it was one hell of a time each visit and i wish i didn't unpack my suitcase for an easy packing the next time around.

so, it's 9 months down the road and the journey continues. this time, i'm finally hanging out with the beauty bloggers (my other beauty blogger sis, tamara is still in school) that i met in the fall 0f 2011.  i can't even remember how it all started, but we just kept saying, if we all lived in the same city or met in person, we'd all have a blast.  surprise, surprise, vegas came into mind! BOOM! there we were booking hotels, shows, dinners and of course, our flights.
