happy birthday to me ...

i can't really think of a creative title, but since it's all gonna come out the same way, i might as well say it as it is, right?!  last year, i had one of the best birthdays ever.  i celebrated it with five other bloggers (maur, next to me, her birthday's after mine so it was a double celebration) and we went all out to party in sin city.  we had VIP access to both TAO and Marquee.  the dude on the background, it was also his birthday, and he crashed our party. oh well.  he brought his two other 23 year old friends as well. yea, we're young cat magnets! LMAO!!!

this year is the first time in a long time that i'm going to be in town for my actual birthday. i am always traveling/vacationing somewhere around this time.  this past weekend, it was celebrated with my awesome girl friends and i could not have asked for much better people to spend it with this year.  as most of you know, my birthday celebration goes through the whole month, so this isn't the end of it.

i don't really have a lot of words about this day of mine or anything breath-taking to say aside from i am grateful to be where i am at in this stage of my life.  i am grateful for all the people that i've met and who've helped me become a much better person.  i am also grateful for second chances and being able to take risks when needed the most.
